Welcome To Kawasan Falls

Kawasan Falls in Badian, Cebu
kawasan falls Cebu is a peaceful natural place where you can enjoy many waterfalls of natural spring water located near the southern tip of Cebu Philippines..
A gentle hush of rushing ice cool water.. All this and more in Badian’s Kawasan Falls!

Just 130 kilometers southwest of Cebu City and about three hours bus ride, the Kawasan Falls is located inside the mountains of Barangay Matutinao, Badian.

From the entrance you will have to walk uphill for about 1.5 kl to get to the first waterfall. Along the way, souvenir shops are selling accessories such as beaded necklaces, bracelets, and Kawasan print t-shirts.

Discover the beauty of
nature at its best
in one of Cebu’s most
promising rendezvous

Kawasan has many waterfalls. The first one is the largest of the three, and is usually the most crowded. An uphill climb for fifteen minutes will take you to the second falls, and another, and another. Its a good idea to bring in your own food, the resort’s restaurants are not cheap and prices are not marked. We ran into problems with the prices getting higher as the day went on.

Cottages (1,500 to 2,500 php) and tables (500php) are also available for rent, the rooms are for overnight stay. You can rent a raft (300 php) to take you around the “pool” or for a refreshing “shower massage” under the falling water. Life vests are also available for rent.

The pathway back is very dark once the sun sets so its best to bring a flashlight. You should be extra careful in going down the slope especially the one descending from the second or third falls to avoid mishaps or accidents.
Kawasan Falls is a great get-away destination in the southern part of Cebu for family’s and gatherings.

The worst place ever. Some one stole my 20000 pesos from my backpack last two days but every one at the fall trying to hide the one who did it. The police work very slow. No CCTV which facing the falls. No one responses to the criminal. No police at the fall. No safety of the tourist also!!!

A why would you walk around with 20 k on you
B its not the falls fault your an idiot
C the cops probably laughed at you because of the above
D who wants CCTV to spoil such a place
E go back to your shopping mall and feel secure
F Any tourist with half a brain doesn’t wear a back pack. First thing they tell you amatures not to do let alone with that much cash in it, just like Italy…
      G stop your winging

Good day. I forgot my box with my jewelries inside it. I stayed overnight with my husband on july 5 Tuesday. We were at the room near the falls and the room price was 2500. If any of your staff have found it pls contact me. It is sealed with a white plastic bag and the box is color black. It is very important to me beacause the jewelries has sentimental value. Thank you!😊

Nice place, friendly people. But seriously… two price standards? One price for the Filipino and one for a foreigner ? And even listed on Official Receipts… Its not the Peso (we spent lots) , its the principle involved.

Kawasan Falls is the best for me so far. I just noticed that locals (I saw two) smoke without consideration to others. NO SMOKING SIGNs should be posted in strategic places.

I appreciate the Coop staff who operates the area very near the falls.

the kawasan falls was great and amazing. riding in bamboo raft was good it was a extreme going under the falls a rapid fall of water is like massaging your body.. the water are cold as ice and clear. pero ang haba ng nilakad sa entrance ay sobrang layo may nakita ako na possible na pwedeng parking area pero mga residente lang daw ang pwede. ok for the community of badian pwede ang tricyle o single na motor dagdag pagkakakitaan doon at my entrance ang falls ng 20 pesos pwde gawing 30pesos para mapaganda ang kalsada masyado maputik ang daan. more improvement and development bsta di maapektuhan ang ganda ng lugar.. salamat
